Colin Montgomerie, Scottish golfer and eight time winner of the European Tour Order of Merit is in Dubai to view the improvement works on the course at The Address Montgomerie Dubai.
Spending Friday morning with Course Superintendent, Sean Kinsley, Colin surveyed the improvement works currently underway on the course at The Address Montgomerie Dubai.
Among the projects, which include upgrades to the existing pump station which distributes water to the 300 plus acres of turf, is the continuous cart path. Cart paths are vital to channeling traffic around the golf course and minimizing wear and tear and work is well underway for the new cart path with a completion date set to be the end of December 2015.
Speaking about the works on course, Montgomerie said: “Troon have done a fantastic job with this facility and we’re putting investment into the course again which is needed. You see the new cart paths, that’s going to keep maintenance as well off the fairways and off the surrounds so we can improve again.”
As a world class course, the work at The Address Montgomerie Dubai will ensure a sensational experience for every golfer and assist in the maintenance of the championship, 18 hole course.
